Glorifying God In Song In Preparation Toward His Second Coming

Merlyn sings Second Alto. She was born in Pinagkaisahan, Philippine and immigrated to the United States at 4 years old.   She currently resides in Des Moines, Washington.   She has 4 adult children and 5 lovely grandchildren.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Education from the University of Washington in Seattle.  Her general line of work has been as a social worker, and has also worked in administrative services.

Her church home is the Kent Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kent, Washington. She has taken on several responsibilities that include: Worship Leader, Sabbath School Teacher, Neighbor to Neighbor Ministries, Special Music Committee Coordinator and the Evangelism Ministries.  She is a former member of Les Chanticleers, a Seattle based mixed chorale acapella singing group.

Her favorite text in the Bible is, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth."
