Viktor Bezman sings bass. He was born in Cahul, in southern Moldova. His first musical exposure was in his family, where his parents, by their own example, encouraged their children to sing and play musical instruments. Viktor, the eldest of four siblings, furthered his musical education in a specialty music school, where besides music theory, solfège and dictation, he learned to play the accordion. Later on, he took up, on his own, the guitar and the trumpet. He played in the Music School orchestra and sang from an early age in the school's choral ensemble, and later, in a number of church choirs, with which he toured throughout Europe. Viktor revels in a variety of music styles, but classical and a cappella choral music top it all.
Viktor has worked in various capacities and fields of expertise. The years before immigrating to the US in 2001, he worked for “Adventists Charity Society” on behalf of ADRA, Germany, where he was in charge of preparing, distributing and escorting humanitarian cargos to Eastern European countries.
After moving to the US, Viktor graduated from Renton Technical College with a certificate in Major Appliance and Refrigeration Technology. Currently he owns and operates a Limousine Service business, "Emerald City Towncar."
Viktor and his family reside in Renton, Washington, and are members of a church there, where he sings in the Renton Men's Chorus. He and his wife, Nadia, a medical assistant, have raised three marvelous children, two sons and one daughter, and they are now enjoying grand-parenting their grandson.
“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith-of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire-may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed”. 1 Peter 1:6-7 (NIV)
