The name Orion was adopted because we believe Jesus will come through that constellation when He comes again.

"But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26:64

“Dark, heavy clouds came up and clashed
against each other. The clouds parted
and rolled back; then we could look up
through the open space in Orion, where
God’s voice came from. Heaven will come
down through that ‘open space.’”
Adapted from Early Writings, p. 42.

Orion Chorale Music Ministries, is a Christian Singing ministry and was formed to spread the Gospel Message to all who will receive it. Because we know that Jesus is coming very soon, it is our hope and prayer that people will see and hear Him in all that we do.

Orion began in 1977 with 25 members
under the direction of Mrs. Connie Barrow.
Shortly thereafter, due to educational
and other pursuits, the group disbanded.
In 2007 the group was reorganized and
adopted the name Orion Chorale
of Washington State.
Several of the original members
are singing with the group today.

Currently the chorale consists of 20 members from nine different Adventist churches in the Washington Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Their unique style of accapella sounds include spirituals and anthems from composer/arranger, Moses Hogan, as well as Roland Carter, and others.

Orion Chorale looks forward to ministering to your congregation or planned events. For scheduling, please contact Connie Barrow.
